Hi, I’m Lindsay

I am a typical, elder millennial born as the oldest daughter in a family of four. I grew up and currently reside in middle-America, though I’ve traveled extensively and seen a good portion of North America.

Mental health has been a struggle my entire life. I’ve had anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder since I was a very young child. By adolescence, crippling depression and an eating disorder appeared. I spent my latter teen years engaging in risky behaviors. It wasn’t until my mid-twenties when I was diagnosed with a genetic health condition and started spiraling down into some dark places that I began investing in my mental health wellness. It’s an ongoing journey that continues to flourish.

I’ve been in business my entire adult life, but my true passion is being a mom. I spent several years as a foster parent before adoption brought permanency into our lives. I’m definitely outnumbered as a single mom with two dogs, two cats, and a gaggle of children, but it’s everything I dreamed of and more.

This page exists as a shame free zone where I encourage anyone who’s living in their semi-colon season. Let’s get better, together.
